Cedar Key Daily Photo

Relocated to a quirky little island off the west coast of Florida and I'm in my element. Well, I'm a Pisces afterall. Surrounded by water and nature makes each day a gift. Our little town of 900 permanent residents is special, so visit here for photos and I'll share it with you.

Dock Street

The beach in the foreground is City Park...a public beach that everyone enjoys. In the background, is Dock Street. In the 1800's, there was no street. This is where the railroad came in and the rails hovered above the water with fish houses on pilings, leading to the depot at the end of the street.
Dock Street now has galleries, gift shops and many restaurants.
